Like almost every business, the Coronavirus Pandemic has had a dramatic effect on how we work here at Robert Nicholas Financial Advisers.
As you may know, alongside our Financial Advice business, we run a Yorkshire Building Society local agency. Whilst much of our Financial Advice business can be delivered from our homes, we have had to keep our office open to provide customers of Yorkshire Building Society access to their savings accounts.
To minimise the impact on our staff’s health, we have reduced the number of people in our office at any one time. Members of our team have been working from home and only attending our office when absolutely necessary.
My co-directors and I would like to publicly thank our staff for coming into our office and maintaining the service to our customers and clients in these difficult times.
Regarding our Financial Advice business, I am pleased to report that we have been remarkably busy and have had another successful year.
We have always preferred to meet our clients face to face and still believe this is the best way to develop relationships and provide our personal service. However, we have had to minimise the number of face to face meetings and, therefore, been challenged to provide new ways of delivering our advice service. Technology has been a big help in this regard and will in certain circumstances change the way we do some business permanently. We do of course hope, however, that the situation will change soon, and we can go back to regularly meeting our clients face to face.
We would like to thank all our clients and customers for supporting us in these difficult times. We hope you all stay safe and healthy and wish you the very best for Christmas and the New Year.
